A simplistic way to add any creatures to anything in 36 words.

I have decided to merge all the "Meet a..." in one. For clarity and simplicity. Here's 5 of them for now.

1/2 card is a "character", to play, kill, make friend with
or anything you desire and need at the moment.

1/2 card is a "monster", to play, kill, loot, pet
or anything you wish or want it to do with it.

What you will find in this collection?

Some words may be weird in context, but twist the primary sense and make it yours to go where your mind want to.

001 Meet a Wizard.
Her first appearance in your rpg or background, her home, secret, the shape of her tower, the main encounter with her and loot she got.

002 Meet a Banshee.
From her disturbance caused, the place she wanders, what she was before, the main encounter and how to fight/release her, the treasure she left and the scars left on your PJs. (I cried when I create mine.)

003 Meet a Bard.
All about his main musical style and the public he mostly plays for, his terrible rival, the social connexion he may share, his favorite instrument and the quest he may propose.

004 Meet a Goblin.
From his disturbance caused, the lair he lives in, a special skill, a trap or a goblin tradition, the main encounter and a weird loot.

005 Meet a Barbarian.
In what kind of community she lives, a really peculiar custom she practice, her barbarian lifestyle. The way she fights and kill, the main encounter and a quest she may offer.

I've deliberately used he or she 1/2 in the descriptions above to avoid the "he/she" - "him/her". Of course do whatever you want with your characters.

Here's a link to Dungeon Synth songs I've produced for some of the characters !

Wonderful game & tool! I referenced your game in my Substack post about this game jam and wrote the following,

"

Meet the Wizard captures my imagination and I play wizards and clerics in DnD. This feels like a great way to craft magical NPCs or new backstories for my future characters. It can also be a fun exercise in how you can create non-wizard with a little creative thinking and “kitbashing.”

Thank you for making this!

Wow ! Thank you LordDestrus for this post and comment. It's indeed a fun tool even for non-wizard characters. Maybe I should try Substack...

I'll be your first subscriber if so. It's a great place with lots of positivity; I'm sure you'd fit right in.

I'm in ! I even wrote my first post about my recent projects. I have decided to write in french so any translater will be fine. I never really know if I keep my mother language or english...

My wizard appeared out of a flaming grimoire that was not consumed, in the middle of a ruined colosseum. I later found out he was actually a clone, formed by the original wizard performing forbidden ancient experiments.

He of course preferred trickery over violence, as he was feeble and frail, even for a wizard. He lured me to his tower with his illusionary magic, where the full moon is visible through the open sealing, and all portraits are drawn with phases of the moon prominently.

Outsmart the wizard and he will grant you an artifact of the fey. I left his tower with a luck charm.
